Press Release: Introducing bikepacking.com

The bikepacking routes project was launched nearly one year ago, and with it a goal to build a comprehensive and inspiring database of routes and related content. To support this effort, as well as take stock in feedback from several routes contributors, we made the decision to rename Pedaling Nowhere. Today we are thrilled to announce the official brand as bikepacking.com.

The rebranding exercise is part of a larger effort to continue to grow the website as a premier resource for bikepacking routes, gear insight, stories, and inspiration. In addition to a quickly growing library of gear reviews, bikepacking.com now features roughly 60 bikepacking routes contributed by 16 riders from all over the world.

Additional changes to the website were made in preparation for the rebrand. These include logos for our ‘Editors’ Picks’ bikepacking routes (below), an updated responsive website design for mobile usability, and new sub-categorical organization within top level sections.

Bikepacking.com will also be introducing several new design changes and content areas over the coming weeks. Additions will include educational content as well as elements to improve site usability. Look for ‘Editors’ Picks’ within Bikepacking Routes, a comprehensive ‘Bikepacking 101’ section, and more. Please stay tuned.
