Interested in bikepacking with a traditional saddlebag, but your saddle doesn’t have haul loops? Entrepreneur Chad Roddy has a solution. The Restuvus is a CNC aluminum clamp mount designed allow larger saddlebags to install on non-traditional saddles. The Restuvus weighs 118g and will come in six anodized colors. According to Chad, the weight capacity is about 20 pounds (9 kg).

With these selling for $70 each, I think I’ll stick to the steel loops from V.O.

  • The way I see it, this a solution for a non-existing problem.
