As reviewed here back in November, Oveja Negra’s Portero is a simple, functional, and mighty good looking backpack. It was one of our favorite accessories of last year, and it even took home my editor’s pick in our 2018 Bikepacking Gear of the Year Awards. Naturally, we were thrilled when Lane at Oveja Negra offered to give away a one of a kind Portero Wack Pack to one member of our Bikepacking Collective.
- Roll-top, variable-volume design
- X-Pac® VX21 and Cordura® 500d construction
- Front zip zippered pocket
- Side stash pockets
- Side compression straps
- Bright interior lining to help see contents
- Reflective logo for added visibility
- Mil-Spec Cordura® webbing and Nexus® hardware
Both Cass and I have been getting a ton of use out of our Portero backpacks (that’s my pack in Coyote and his custom Wack Pack, just above) for some time, and one lucky winner will receive the one of a kind Wack Pack pictured here to call their own. If you haven’t yet become a member of the Bikepacking Collective, consider joining for your chance to win this Portero and many other great prizes (and, of course, you’ll receive two issues of The Bikepacking Journal in the mail each year). Already a member? Thanks for your support, you’re entered to win!
