A slow journey between Lazio Tuscany Umbria and Marche…this is the Italy Coast to Coast 2017.

Starting from the Tyrrhenian Sea you will cover 500 km and climb around 11,000 meters, travelling through Italy alone by bike with only a GPS to help you, passing through ancient streets, pristine landscapes and world famous cities. This undertaking will be a challenge against both yourself and the clock, whilst for others it will be a slow journey by road, paths, and dirt tracks to discover some of the most beautiful places you will ever encounter. However you decide to do the trip, it will be an adventure of a lifetime.

The journey begins from the Tyrrhenian coast, in Montalto Marina, then crosses though the Tuscia, the hills of Tuscany and into the green and mostly unknown park of Lake Trasimeno in Umbria. It then takes you to the beautiful cities of Perugia, Assisi and Spoleto and climbs to the peaks of the Umbrian-Marche Appennines, before heading towards the Adriatic Sea and arriving in San Benedetto del Tronto. An unforgettable experience through Lazio, Tuscany, Umbria and Marche that will stay with you forever.
